Artist Statement
My practice explores the intersections of art, community, and technology. For over three decades, I have worked across painting, sculpture, ceramics, and public art, while also pursuing research that investigates how artistic practices can foster inclusion and social change.
I am particularly interested in the ways interactive technologies can serve as new languages of connection—tools through which artists engage with diverse audiences and expand the boundaries of participation. My current doctoral research focuses on how such technologies can communicate the inclusion of all entities, reflecting my lifelong commitment to understanding the transformative role of art in society.
Rooted in both traditional craft and contemporary experimentation, my work seeks to create spaces where communities encounter art not only as an aesthetic experience but as an active dialogue. Whether through public installations, ceramics rooted in cultural heritage, or digitally mediated works, I aim to challenge perceptions of belonging and demonstrate art’s power to shape collective life.
